Bijou Igitt aus Hamburg veröffentlichen bereits ihren zweiten Tonträger und haben sich im Vergleich zu ihrer ersten Scheibe „Der letzte Dodo“ nochmal ein Stückchen verbessert. Sowohl beim noch ausgefeilteren Songwriting, als auch beim Artwork der Platte, das düster und nachdenklich daher kommt. Das Frontcover zeigt eine Hand, in der ein Smartphone liegt. Auf das Display wurde händisch eine Spiegelfolie geklebt. Die Songs sind eingängig und melodisch, aber schnell im Tempo. Die Texte erinnern an den Humor und die Bissigkeit von die Bullen, Affenmesserkampf oder Kaput Krauts. Genau wie der mal harmonische, mal etwas diffuse Gesang. Bijou Igitt spielen abwechslungsreichen Hardcore-Punk mit vielen guten Ideen in ihren Songs, die es musikalisch und textlich auf den Punkt bringen. Die Band reiht sich damit lückenlos in die aktuelle Welle deutschsprachiger Punkbands ein, die die 80er und 90er Jahre des Genres ins Hier&Jetzt transportieren.
