Nach kurzzeitigem Ausloten anderer Spielwiesen, wie z.B. Autotune und Autos tunen, haben sich BAZOOKA ZIRKUS wieder auf ihre Stärken besonnen und einen neuen Tonträger gebastelt. Sieben Jahre nach dem 2013er Album "Der Gang vor die Hunde" erscheint also am 11.09.2020 das neue Werk mit dem Titel "Ach, das könnte schön sein" als LP und digital. Die Geschichte des Albums nimmt ihren Anfang 2018 als die Band im hauseigenen Henschoranch Tontstudio 20 Demosongs aufnimmt von welchen es 13 auf "Ach, das könnte schön sein" geschafft haben.
Die Drums wurden an einem Tag im Gernhart Studio, Troisdorf aufgenommen, um den Leadgesang hat sich Kurt Ebelhäuser im Tonstudio45 gekümmert. Gitarre, Bass & Backing Vocals wurden dann wieder im Henschoranch Tonstudio aufgenommen. Gemixt wurde Anfang 2020 von Robert im Whitewood Tonstudio, Liverpool. Gemastert wurde von Michael Schwaabe bei Monoposto, Düsseldorf. Kurzum, in Sachen Sound und Songwriting wurden keine Gefangenen gemacht, was man dem Album vom ersten Moment an deutlich anhört. Ähnlich kompromisslos ist die Ausstattung der LP. Das Vinylpresswerk selbst sprach hier von einem Rennwagen mit Wurzelholzausstattung. Übersetzt heißt das: Die Platte kommt in schwarzem 180 Gramm Vinyl und bedruckten Innenhüllen. Das Cover kommt auf schwerem Karton und mit einer partiellen Heißfolienprägung in gold. Außerdem gibt es mit Panzerschokolade einen exklusiven Bonustrack, welchen es nur auf Vinyl und nicht digital geben wird. Ein Donwload Code liegt jeder Platte auch bei. Bazooka Zirkus setzen mit diesem Album mehr als ein Ausrufezeichen. Gut, dass sie wieder da sind.

Acht Eimer Hühnerherzen - „album“ Eine spanische Konzertgitarre mit „Dreiviertelmensur“ , ein winziger Akustik-Bass mit Nylonsaiten, ein minimalistisches Drumkit, 2 Verzerrerpedale und 3 Stimmen - grossartig verändert haben die Acht Eimer Hühnerherzen den Nylon-Punk Stil ihres Debutalbums nicht - eher variiert und konkretisiert und weiterentwickelt, wie man sich eben so weiterentwickeln kann, wenn man eigentlich zu gestört und dysfunktional für die Gesetze von Popmusik und zweiter Platte ist. Die Regeln von Punk, Folk und Songwritertum werden weiterhin eiskalt ignoriert und alles bleibt handgemacht ohne Tricks und Effekte, aber Spiralgalaxien-entfernt von „Unplugged“-Patina und -Pathos, diesmal sogar noch schneller und Punk-affiner getaktet. Denn die Welt und ihre Probleme drehen sich inzwischen ja auch immer schlimmer schneller und man muss ja mit der Zeit gehen. Und „wer pennt, kommt in Zement.“
