Totenwald haben nach einer Vielzahl von Livekonzerten und der Veröffentlichung einer Mini-LP nun zu ihrem finalen Line Up gefunden. Mit Saxophonistin Ruby sind die Berliner_innen nun zu viert und verbindet den aktuellen Wave-Punk mit altem England-Anarcho-Peacepunk. Das Saxophon steht dabei nicht im Vordergrund, damit erinnert die Band eher an Skeletal Family als an X-Ray Spex. Die Band schwört nach wie vor auf den Drumcomputer, der den 11 Songs eine klare Struktur gibt und den rauen Gesang von Trish zur Geltung bringt.
Inhaltlich drehen sich die Songs um politische Themen wie (körperliche) Selbstbestimmung, Kapitalismus- und Gesellschaftskritik. Die optische Darstellung der Band unterstreicht und verdeutlicht ihre Standpunkte. Der düstere Sound der Band tritt durch die Alleinstellungsmerkmale wie den Gesang und das wohl dosierte Saxophon aus dem Schatten der Vielzahl an Gothrock- und Postpunkbands hervor.
