The band has had a lot to deal with in the years since their last full length. But they’ve been steadily building to this point. Last year saw the release of a new EP and now we have "Machine Response", which is their first album since their vaunted "Attempted Suicide".
Does it live it up to expectations? The answer is a resounding, yes.
"Machine Response" announces that Career Suicide are back in a big way. The album is one big rush of dynamic, adrenaline soaked hardcore, which will please old fans and new ones alike. It brims with energy, confidence and emotion.
Most songs hover around the two minute mark, but they manage to pack these short bursts of action, with swaths of feedback and tension filled build ups that break out into bursts of fast hardcore. They also manage to throw in short, sharp and shocking feedback drenched solos into many of the song, giving them a little extra punch.
"Machine Response" is easily one the best hardcore records of the year. You will not want to miss out on it.
Welcome back, it’s been way too long.
